Taster session at nursery

Today was a very exciting day. It was my first taster session (literally) at nursery! Mummy came with me and she spoke to the lady while I explored. I saw my friend Frankie there, she was having a great time in the ball pit when I arrived. She has a bunny a bit like mine and we shared.

I saw the babies having some gingerbread cake for their snack, I notified mummy via my 'urgh urgh' noise that I was interested in the cake as I had not tried it before. She asked the lady if I could have some too. This was my favourite part of the visit. Turns out I love cake! Just like my mummy.

I had a great time playing with the toys, picking up the ball pit balls and waving at people. One of the ladies was singing 'Twinkle twinkle little star' to Frankie,  I thought this was a very good rendition and clapped.

It was only a short visit today, so then we went home for my nap and lunch.

Mummy and I went to the supermarket after lunch - this gave me another chance to practise my waving and throwing things on the floor. Packets of pasta make a great noise when they hit the floor. Oh and who knew that packets of cous cous would make such good rattles.

Once we got home from the supermarket my friend Bethan came for a play date. It's been so long since I saw her. It was great to push each other out of the way to get to toys. Turns out she has great taste in toys - she just seemed to know which toy I'd want to play with!

Bethan left and I had dinner. Then daddy came home and we had a play before my bath. Early night for me tonight as I was quite tired after all the fun I had today.

  1. Ah glad she has a good day. Is it also a bit sad to be really excited that Francesca made it into the blog?! I mean.... She's practically famous now! Hee hee :-)
