Mummy and daddy were surprised and also very excited for me. Mummy was mostly excited becasue she wants me to wear a dress for my birthday party and was worried that I wouldn't be able to crawl around in it. But now I am walking I crawl less. I'm pretty fast at crawling so I'm not giving it up just yet - it's useful for getting to places when mummy's back is turned.
Now we are back in the UK mummy and daddy took me to Clarks to have my feet measured and to choose some shoes. My main criteria was how they tasted but mummy and the lady wanted to check they fitted me and that I could walk in them.
I tasted/tried on three pairs and mummy and daddy helped me to choose the best one. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa who bought them for me. 3.5 G in case you were wondering!
I wore my new shoes straight from the shop so I could get used to them. We went to visit my cousin Ben as his new baby cousin Hope was at his house. Ben is so funny - he makes me laugh just by looking at me!
Annabel looks a right little red head in these photos against the navy coloured dress.We are so glad she likes her new shoes not only the style but also the taste!
