Mummy and daddy convinced me to help them unwrap the paper covered gifts and I was pleasantly surprised! They got me a new activity table - even better than the one I had in America, a Makka Pakka, Frozen, the Very Hungry Caterpillar book and a Princess Sofia dress! Wow!
I also got to speak to Nain and Taid and Grandma and Grandpa.
Then it was time for another trip to nursery. This time mummy said goodbye and I stayed with the ladies and the other babies for an hour. I had a pretty good time. Crackers with cream cheese for snack, a bit of painting and playing with the activity table! I saw my friend Frankie again too. Mummy spied on me for a bit and was pleased to see that I was having fun.
After that busy morning it was time for a nap before a visit from Uncle Tim who bought my birthday card round. Then daddy took me and mummy out for lunch! The first place we went to didn't have any high chairs - I don't think they like children. Then next place did though and mummy and daddy had a lovely lunch - I stole some of mummy's sweet potato chips!
This afternoon I visited the ceramics place - I haven't been there for a few months so I think mummy was having withdrawel symptoms. She loves painting ceramics for some reason. We met my friend Archie and his mummy there. Archie was making a mug for his Aunty.
This time mummy let me do all the painting! I did a plate. I can't wait to use it! Mummy helped by writing my name on the plate for me. I'm sure it will look great once it's been fired.
The afternoon was still young so we went to the soft play area. Archie and I really enjoyed the ball pit - it was great fun.
All that excitement meant I was ready for another nap so mummy took me home. After my nap we played princesses! Well, I wore my Princess Sofia dress and we played with the activity table and the balloons.
They are pretty big balloons. I had a lovely birthday dinner of chicken paella and a yogurt. A great bubble bath and then went to bed.
So that was my birthday. A very exciting fun packed day! I am looking forward to my party on saturday!
