Lazy Sunday...

Another lazy morning in the house. We watched the second half of Frozen and I had a really long nap on mummy. I didn't have a very good night sleep wise so I needed to catch up.

Aunty Rosie came over with a birthday present for me! A lovely hand-made rocking chair! From my friends Bethan, Francesca and Elliot. It's so beautiful  - a real keepsake to treasure.

Then daddy got the bubble machine out which Uncle Matthew bought me. Bubbles are great fun!

Then we went out for lunch with Uncle Tom and his mummy. It was very nice and I did some colouring and made music by banging my cup on the table.

After lunch we came home and played a bit more. I have a lovely little dolly, who I like carrying around. For some reason mummy likes to put a blue cardigan on her. I don't like this cardigan and take it off her. She looks better without it I think. I like to carry the cardigan around too.

Mummy and daddy think I might be getting some teeth as was a bit grumpy today. I hope so, I only have two and all of my friends have loads... More teeth would definitely help me to bite my food.

Saturday soft play!

No nursery today. I had a lovely morning playing in the house with mummy and daddy. We played with my activity table, soft skittles and teddies. We also read some stories.

Then we went to a funny place for lunch and mummy made me wear a big hat! Daddy had some very spicy food and it made his eyes water. I had a little walk around and tried to gate crash a little girls birthday party! I also tried chips for the first time - they are delicious!

After lunch we went to a play area. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more - me or mummy and daddy!
I loved carrying two plastic balls around. Mummy and daddy kept asking me to give them to them saying "Ta for mummy" 'Ta for daddy". I got a bit confused though because there was another daddy there who had no hair and glasses on. So I gave him the balls. Mummy and daddy thought this was very funny for some reason.

Then we went home and Uncle Matthew and Aunty Debbie came to visit. Mummy and daddy got all of my old clothes out for them to look through. I helped by pulling as many as I could out of the bags and walking around with them. Uncle Matthew was making a nice pile on the sofa which I helped to pull apart.

Another fun day! Sunday 22nd March

Still at Grandma and Grandpa's today. Had a great morning playing!

Then we went to visit Pam Pam! She's my other Great-Grandma. I am so lucky to have three great-grandparents!

Pam Pam lives with lots of other Grandparents. I had lots of fun showing them my walking, waving and clapping. They all really enjoyed it!

After we'd visited Pam Pam we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for lunch. I had been very busy at Pam Pam's house though so I went for a nap.

After nap and lunch we went to the garden centre. Here I saw a doggy and told everyone by using my doggy noise "wu wu". Mummy was very pleased and excited that I had done this and she clapped!

Then we went to visit my Great Great Aunty Gwen. She had a funny baby who laughed! I couldn't quite understand the tiny laughing baby, but I did like it.

I have had a very busy weekend visiting all my GREAT relatives with mummy and daddy. Then it was time to go home - I slept all the way back!

Literally GREAT grandparents! Saturday 21st March

Very strange Saturday morning... I woke up in grandma and grandpas house! Mummy and daddy were also there. Mummy, grandma and grandpa took me downstairs to play!

I had a great time with Grandpa he's very funny!

Then we got into the car for a trip to North Wales to visit Naini (Great - Grandmother) and Tiado (Great - Grandad). We got to Naini and Taido's house and I was very keen to show them my new walking skills. Last time I saw them I couldn't even crawl!

Naini made me jelly for my lunch! I had such a lovely time at my Naini's house. My Great Aunty Lisa, Great Uncle Steven and Phoebe came to visit me. I took a bit of a shine to my Uncle Steven and decided to keep giving him things.

Then we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's for tea. I had a fun time playing with Grandma before I went to bed.

Bubbles and swimming!

I had lots of fun throwing and chasing the ball around the room today. I found it hard to crawl in my pretty dress, but solved the problem by picking up the ball and walking. I also really enjoyed transporting the wooden people from place to place today too.

I went into the garden with Davinia, Leanne and Aleki. There I rode in the cars and made more marks with the crayons.

I had such a busy day - there were bubbles in the room and Rachel took me into the hydro pool for a play! I loved the hydro pool - the squirty fish made me giggle and I loved splashing!

I really enjoyed all my meals today apart from tomato chutney and cucumber.

I was very pleased to see mummy again when she picked me up. Daddy was already at home when we arrived - I was also very pleased to see him!

After my bath I had some porridge and daddy was speaking to me in a funny voice - it made me laugh! Mummy told him to stop beng silly becuase I was eating. He is so funny!

CUSTAAAARD!

Turns out I love something else as much as bananas... CUSTARD! It's yummy!

Had a great day at nursery today. I explored the objects around me by banging them together - this is so much fun. I also pulled blocks through the hole in the end of the trough and then put them back in the top. Another thing I enjoyed today was chasing balls around the room! Rachel told mummy that I tried to go a bit too fast and had a few falls - but I'm ok. It's all part of learning.

We went out into the garden again today and I made marks on paper using crayons. I also saw some baby daffodils and played in the sand.

During lunch we practised "more", "ta" and "thanks". I sat next to my friend Frankie who really enjoyed her lunch today. We had banana (my super favourite) and custard (my new second favourite) for pudding. I got a bit upset with Rachel when she took the banana away from me. She thought I'd had enough - but I could eat banana ALL day! Mummy is going to make me some bananas and custard this weekend too.

I had a great time saying "iya" (my version of hiya) into the mirror and played in cereal with my friend Frankie!

I ate all my food today including apple and raisin loaf, cottage pie with leeks and broccoli, hummus on oatcakes and homemade pizza with veg sticks! Mummy is quite jealous of the yummy food I get to eat, but it also gives her ideas I think. Well I hope so anyway - there's only so much philadelphia on toast one girl can take...

Fun with shaving foam!

St Patricks day today so mummy put my green shamrock socks on me. Personally I thought they clashed with my pink cords...

Today I had lots of fun "calling" mummy on the phone with Rachel! I also really enjoyed shaving foam play - I moved my hands around in it and squished it between my fingers.

I had some outside time in the garden and walked lots and played with the soil. I do not get my love of the garden from mummy that's for sure!

My friend Francesca and me went in the bubble room and I squealed lots. It was great fun changing the colour of the light tube.

I wasn't keen on the mandarin oranges that were on offer today - or the mash potato. But I really liked the turkey pasta bake and even had seconds!

I am having a great time at nursery and am making lots of friends. I was very pleased to see mummy though and squealed and giggled when she came to pick me up! I walked straight over to her for a cuddle.

Mummy took me home and I played with daddy for a bit before my bath, some porridge, milk and then bed.

My first full day in nursery

Wow! What a day!

Today was my first full day in nursery, mummy and daddy dropped me off. First things first - BREAKFAST! Today was yummy porridge, buttered crumpets and my all time favourite banana!

I enjoyed exploring the activity table using my fine motor skills - pushing the buttons and flipping the page. I also enjoyed watching Leanne blowing bubbles.

We went out into the garden and sang 'rain rain go away' - it didn't work. I also went on the see saw - that was fun!

It was my friend Francesca's birthday so at snack time we had some birthday cake - I really enjoyed that! And we sang happy birthday!

Great news today too - Rachel is going to be my key worker. I really like having cuddles with Rachel and sharing my pink bunny with her.

At lunch I sat with Francesca it was great. We had a great time! I wasn't sure about the garlic bread, but I did enjoy the peaches and custard desert!

Mothers day

Woke up and daddy came to get me. I went into bed with mummy for a cuddle. Daddy gave mummy a card and a present from me - it was a wine glass! Apparantly I also told daddy to take mummy to the Pandora shop - well she has been very good to me this year.

I played with nain and taid while mummy and daddy tidied and got dressed. Then we all went to town. We chose mummy a new pandora for her necklace but I was getting tired of town by this point and used my helpful whining noise to let mummy and daddy know.

Then we went to the pub to meet my uncle Tim, Aunty Seb and cousin Ben for lunch! I'd had a nap on the way so I was happy when they arrived!

Nain and taid came too. I had great fun! I ate fish fingers, fruit and mini chedders for my lunch. I wasn't keen on the mash potato or the peas so I spat them out and poked my tongue out.

After we had eaten I chased my cousin Ben around - this was great fun although I realised I can crawl much faster than I can walk! Ben is so funny, he makes me laugh so much.

Then it was time for nain and taid to go home to Wales. Mummy and daddy took me to Francesca's birthday party. It was at her house. She has got a dog who I found very exciting! He had to stay in the other room behind the baby gate though because he was very excited too.

Francesca was just about ready for her nap when we arrived, but my friend Elliot was there so we played together with the hoover and the activity table. I also showed off my walking skills. I really enojyed the party and had a bit of cheese from the buffet table.

After the party I had a nap in the car as we drove home. Then it was time for tea.

After tea we watched a bit of Frozen, danced to the songs and played with my activity table and alphabet doggy.

Then it was time for bed after a lovely party filled weekend.

Such a fun day!

Well I'm not sure what that was all about... but my friends and family all came to play! Not at my house though, somewhere else and there was a huge play area there! With a ball pit!

Morning started normally enough... I had porridge, a banana and some toast for breakfast. And a great play with daddy in the lounge. I also played with mummy in the kitchen while she made loads of food. I had to try it.

Then grandma and grandpa came over - it was great to see them as always! Daddy and grandpa took me out in the car for a ride and we went to a hall where we met mummy, grandma, nain and taid!

Then my friends started to turn up and a man came with a huge inflatable play area!

I was quite hungry by this time though, so I sampled the food. I particularly enjoyed the melon, Elliots rice cakes and Bethans malt loaf.

Then I did what any self respecting birthday girl would do... I played!

With my cousins!

With my friends!

Then everyone sang a really lovely song and there was a castle cake! Poppy, Caitlin and Ben helped me blow the candles out.

It was such a lovely afternoon! I was very happy, but also very tired at this point.

After a little nap I was ready to play some more and open some more presents!

I've had a really lovely day and a lot of really lovely presents. My nain and taid are staying so I get to play with them again tomorrow. What a great day this has been.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared this special day with me and my mummy and daddy.
