Bluestone, day three: child free time and a wish for a rainbow.

This morning we treated ourselves to some Child free time and booked Annabel into the Shelby snail mini something or other thing which basically meant she got to have some fun with child care experts and other children for three hours and we got to visit the spa. Did feel a bit guilty as we were heading over to drop her off, but she marched in, took her wellies off and started playing with a shopping trolley,   Then said goodbye mummy and goodbye daddy so we felt a bit better leaving her. Another little girl was crying so Annabel took her a Peppa pig to cheer her up which we thought was really sweet.

Spa was good. The highlight was definitely the outdoor hydrotherapy pool. 😂 35 degree heat complemented the Welsh drizzle perfectly.

Annabel was booked into the childcare until 12 but by 11.40 we were bored of each other and missing her too much so we went to pick her up. Then it was back to the apartment for lunch and a nap.

While Annabel was sleeping the Easter bunny came (not really but that's what we told Annabel) and dropped off and an egg and a chocolate bunny for her. Chocolate bunnys have become a bit of a special treat and she likes to remind us randomly that she likes chocolate rabbits.

When Annabel woke up and had eaten her chocolate rabbit we headed off to the activity centre on Cerys (our golf buggy) - we were very thankful for Cerys today as it rained all day!

There was time for a bit of play in the soft play room before the Tawny Tales show.

This show was great fun and enhanced massively by Annabels obsession with the random nemo toys dotted around the room. In fact I think everyone there was pleased with the silences being filled with shouts of "nemo!" "My nemo!"...

At one point the man handed out little tags and asked the children to write wishes on them. Annabel took this very seriously and was concentrating hard as she wrote on her tag. He asked her what she was wishing for and she said "a rainbow". Very wise choice as that would have meant some sunshine!

After the show it was time for tea. Off to the farm house grill where we were greated by Huwie the hedgehog. Annabels mate...

We had a really lovely meal here and Annabel enjoyed playing on the tractors and in the wooden houses which are inside the restaurant.

Back home on Cerys for bath time. That's our three days up. We have to be out by 10am tomorrow but can use the facilities until 3 if we like which is cool, I think we will see how the weather is...
